SYNOPSIS

Hope Ranch(2002) A tough, burned-out cop, J.T., realizes he will never clean up the streets of Los Angeles, so he spends all his money on a cattle ranch, intended to house violent juvenile offenders rejected by the system. He takes in three teens. Armed with a game plan of tough love and hard work, J.T. uses two ex-cons to bully the kids into working like real cowboys. Handsome ex-con Colt and prankster Shorty are stern, strong, and smarter than the teens thought. Forced to get along and to do hard work, the teens are rewarded for good behavior. Two of them begin to fall in line. The third, Keith, plans to rob the ranch and escape with the help of his brother and his thugs. Keith's plans do not go as expected when the thugs show up and capture the ranch's cook and her daughter. JT, the cons, and the two reformed teens fight back, but the thugs are stronger and are professionally armed. Keith must make a choice to take the easy way out, or to fight for what's right.
